Suffering in Silence

Silence.

I admit…I love it.

But there are a myriad of painful experiences and challenges we come to face that can silence us in this life. And then there are moments we can allow ourselves to suffer in silence. Silence is good until it’s time to speak up. Being alone in your own space with your thoughts and pain can be comfortable at first. But then it becomes too uncomfortable, and the heaviness of it all becomes quite unbearable. Maybe you have been in this place. Like, your safe place to bleed with no one around; but when you bleed with no help, you could die in the pool of your own misery.

Liberate your heart. Learning the art of speaking from that place can help with the weight of everything unsaid. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Be released from the prison that has held you captive. God is in the silence. He is close to you in your distress. He is with you. You are not alone.

Sometimes you have to confront the things you fear to overcome them. It’s not easy, but it can be done. Someone will listen and try to understand. God will lead you to the people who you can share your truths with. You will have trusted people you can seek help from, then you can become help. Where you help others, you also help yourself. Your voice in that place will lead others out of theirs.

Let out what aches. Let it out. Let love in. Heal. You’ve bled in silence long enough. And your pain and feelings of utter despair has led you to this point of releasing what’s inside. Don't allow fear to entangle you. Your heart is open. Flow from a place of compassion.

Let your heart speak.
