Owe No Explanation

Change is a good thing. Sometimes the problem is, not everyone will accept it when you do. So, truthfully speaking, it’s their problem. They don’t necessarily have to accept it, though. Reason being is that it’s beyond their control. People can be comfortable remaining where they are, and become too familiar with you being where you are, so they will try to make you feel some type of way for wanting to change. For wanting to break the mold of what’s normal. I want to let you know that going to higher heights and next levels doesn’t require their approval. There are things you have to do that you don’t even understand at times. Everyone loves you (or not) when you are what they want you to be. And because you want to reach your full potential doesn’t mean you think you're better than anyone. But, that is what “they” will say. “Who do you think you are? You think you’ better than everybody!” Apparently, it isn’t you doing the thinking…it’s them. It’s really what they think about you, so they superimpose their negative beliefs about you on to you. Staying in a place you no longer belong in is detrimental to your life and to your growth. There are things people are unwilling to do to change their own lives for the better, so they get upset when you start to make progress. Love your progress. It’s yours to love. Through all of your many mistakes and failures, you owe it to yourself to move forward, and to become a better version of yourself. No one can take that away from you with an opinion. Absolutely no one! Be unapologetic. You owe no explanation for wanting to be better and do better. Surround yourself with people who can celebrate your evolution of becoming all that God called you to be. He holds the plan for our lives, and we must move when He says to. In the end, He is the only One we will owe an explanation to. And THAT dear ones, is enough for me.

Love.
